SHILLONG RESULT

 How Teer Works:

1. Archery Contest:

   - The game is based on an archery contest. Archers shoot a specified number of arrows at a target.

   - Typically, there are about 50 archers, and each shoots around 30 arrows in the first round and 20 arrows in the second round.

2. Rounds and Timing:

   - The game has two rounds:

     - First Round: The archers shoot arrows, and the count of arrows hitting the target determines the first round’s result.

     - Second Round: After a short break, the archers shoot again, and the number of arrows hitting the target determines the second round’s result.

   - Timing: The first round usually starts at around 3:45 pm, and the second round begins around 4:30 pm.

3. Betting:

   - Players place bets on numbers ranging from 00 to 99, predicting the last two digits of the total number of arrows that hit the target.

   - For example, if 756 arrows hit the target in total, the winning number is 56.

   - Bets are placed before each round starts. Players can bet on either or both rounds.

4. Result Announcement:

   - The results are announced shortly after each round. The first-round result is typically announced around 4:15 pm, and the second-round result around 5:00 pm.

   - Results are displayed on various local outlets, online platforms, and dedicated Teer counters.

5. Winnings:

   - The payout depends on the odds and the amount wagered. Winning numbers yield higher returns compared to regular lotteries due to the game’s traditional setup and community involvement.

   - Payout ratios are generally 80:1 or higher, depending on the type of bet.

Legal and Cultural Aspects:

- Legal Status: Teer is legal in Meghalaya and regulated by the state government. It is governed by the Meghalaya Amusement and Betting Tax Act.

- Cultural Significance: The game is deeply rooted in local traditions and is a significant part of the culture in Meghalaya. It is not just a form of gambling but a community event.

 Note:

While Teer is a legal and regulated game in Meghalaya, it still involves gambling, and players should participate responsibly.
